DADDY SAMJHA KARO

A sitcom about a widower, who is trying his best to bring up his three teenage daughters with the help of his sister from Bilaspur. The tussle between the two was treated in a funny manner but with an underlying thread of caring and warmth touched the hearts of young and old. First telecast in 1999, the show has been rerun on prime time, and in its third rerun enjoyed top rating on its channel of telecast.

BADE MIYAA CHOTTE MIYAA

The two masters of comedy came together after 12 years – Aanand Mahendroo and Shekhar Suman – to create a rib-tickling comedy about a dysfunctional individual in a normal happy family. The story revolves around a pair of twins, Rajesh a crabby but lovable man and the Ramesh a cool, collected and very together person. The biggest bane of Rajesh’s life is that though he is older than Ramesh by a full 5 minutes, everyone seems to give Ramesh more importance than him. He spends his life in a game of one-upmanship with his own brother and invariably falls flat on his face. The beautiful thing about the story is that the character remains lovable and the audience always empathises with him. Telecast in 2003, the show in its second telecast on prime time is within the top three programs on the channel of telecast.

AGNI PAREEKSHA

The story is a bold one of a man who fell in love with a woman, but married her sister because of circumstances. How the announcement sends the entire family into disarray and how the girl brings the family and the business together is the story of Agnipareeksha.
